Important Information Regarding Accommodation
-
①“Precautions in dining areas”
Breakfast and dinner are both provided in “Miyama Dining” with all other guests.
As such, we ask that you please take care with your behavior and volume when talking so as not to disturb other guests.
We also have private rooms, but these are not soundproofed and are located adjacent to the dining area, so we ask that you employ the same considerations.
Excluding private rooms, groups may be allocated to seats in groups of 4. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
We also do not recommend the dining area as appropriate for guests with young children (preschoolers).
Allocated seating may be inconvenient for this reason. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
We also ask that you employ the same considerations as above with regards to other guests.
Dinner is a creative Japanese-Western fusion cuisine. We serve each dish with restaurant style. - ②Lighting in the hotel and guest rooms is dimmed, allowing the beautiful nature scenery to be enjoyed in a more vividly way.
- ③Our hotel is located above the Unzen Jigoku in the Unzen National Park. The Jigoku steam that can be seen in the Japanese garden is a result of that environment. As such, the hotel was built with a hollow space under the floor and Jigoku steam may come out from the ground under the floor. Due to the heat from Jigoku, some parts of the floor may become hot. The heat inside the elevator is also a result of this geothermal energy. This may be particularly uncomfortable during warm seasons. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
- ④ Computer equipment can break easily due to the effect of the sulfur hot springs, so the rooms do not have card keys and the toilets are not equipped with automatic cleaning devices.
- ⑤Metal elements in the baths or washstands may turn black due to the effect of the sulfur hot springs, so black fixtures are used.
- ⑥Precious metals may experience discoloration, so please be sure to remove them before bathing.
- ⑦Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel, including on terraces. (There is a smoking area to the right outside the front entrance.) E-cigarettes are also prohibited.
- ⑧Use of incense and aromatherapy is also prohibited.
- ⑨Our hotel does not offer any barrier-free rooms, but we have a universal toilet that can also be used by wheelchair users on the first floor.
- ⑩The parking lot costs ¥500 per vehicle.
