Use of the site by customers with tattoos
The use of our public baths is restricted to guests with tattoos. Customers with tattoos are asked to use the private baths (50 minutes / 3,300 yen).
Mixed bathing with children
In accordance with Nagasaki Prefecture ordinances, please refrain from bathing with children of the opposite sex who are elementary school students (roughly 7 years old) or older when using the large baths.

The hot water of our hotel is the source of Dai Kyokan Jigoku, Jaken Jigoku, which is famous as a hot spring for beautiful skin.
The hot spring water is free-flowing, so you can fully enjoy the ingredients of the hot spring water.

Both the men's and women's baths are spacious and relaxing, with a sauna and an open-air bath where you can fully enjoy the magnificent nature of Unzen. Private baths are also available.

Unzen Onsen has a daily gush of approximately 1,000 tons.
The spring is naturally gushing and has 37 sources.
The metasilicic acid content of our hot spring water is 103.8 mg, which is good for the formation of beautiful skin.

Large Public Bath “Kirin Hot Springs”
The spacious public baths are spacious and relaxing.
The wooden structure provides a pleasant space with natural light coming in from the ceiling.
It also has a sauna and a pleasant water bath with a high ceiling.

The Origin of “Kirin Hot Springs”
The name “Kirin Hot Springs” comes from the fact that when a famous feng shui teacher visited the hotel, he was told that kylins regularly come to the Dai Kyokan Jigoku at the source of the hotel's spring to heal wounds.
Outdoor bath
The outdoor baths are rich in greenery where you can feel the changing seasons of Unzen. There are rock baths and stone baths with different atmospheres, which can be switched between the two baths.

A cool-water bath・Sauna
At “Kirin Hot Springs”, both men's and women's baths are equipped with water baths and saunas.
Cool down in a water bath after warming up in a hot spring or sauna.
Repeated stimulation of the body with hot and cold temperatures helps to promote blood circulation.
Private baths "Ichi-no-yu", "Ni-no-yu", and "San-no-yu".
Each private bath becomes a half-open-air bath when the windows are fully opened, revealing soothing seasonal plantings.
The spacious bathtubs are equipped with the same rich spring water quality as the large public baths.
